Marius Fabre Laundry Soap Cube
A timeless essential for homekeeping, Marius Fabre’s Marseille Laundry Soap Cube is crafted in the traditional French manner—entirely vegetable-based, biodegradable, and free of palm oil. Gentle yet effective, it offers a natural way to spot-treat stains or hand-wash garments with care.
For everyday laundry, we recommend pairing it with Marius Fabre Soap Flakes.
A Note on Scent
Authentic olive oil Marseille soap carries a distinctly natural aroma—often described as earthy, green, or gently grassy. It’s a simple, honest fragrance with no added perfumes, though its subtlety may not appeal to every nose.
Ingredients
soap (sodium sunflowerseedate, sodium cocoate), aqua, glycerine, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide
The glycerine present in this soap is naturally occurring, a remnant of the vegetable oils used. Through a slow 10-day cooking process and multiple rinses, nearly all glycerine is removed—yet small traces remain, and current cosmetic regulations require even minimal amounts to be listed. True Marseille soap, when made traditionally as Marius Fabre does, is considered glycerine-free in practice.
Crafted By: Marius Fabre
Origin: Salon-de-Provence, France
Specifications
+ Free from artificial colorants, added fragrance, and preservatives
+ Free of chemical additives
+ Palm-oil free
+ Cruelty-free — never tested on animals
How to Use
For stubborn stains:
Rub the soap cube directly onto the stain before laundering. Place the garment in your washing machine and wash as usual. Works beautifully on greasy marks, set-in spots, and shirt collars.
For hand-washing:
Fill a basin with warm water and submerge your delicate items. Wet the cube and create a lather in your hands, or apply directly to the fabric (for very fragile textiles, use hand-lather only). Gently agitate, soak, and rinse thoroughly in cool or lukewarm water. Press out excess water with a towel and hang to dry.
Can also be used for face and body cleansing

Marseille soap has been made in France for over 600 years, and today only a few makers still uphold the original standards. Marius Fabre is one of the last remaining traditional producers, crafting their soap for more than 110 years.
