Made in the English countryside, with a little old-world charm baked right in.
For more than four decades, Creamore Mill has been creating beautifully considered wooden accessories from a historic mill in rural Shropshire. Founded by John Buckland in 1981, the family business began humbly in a ten-foot-square wash house with a handful of tools, a wood lathe, and a supply of locally sourced timber.
As the collection grew, so did the need for more room. The Buckland family eventually moved into Creamore Mill itself; a former corn and wood mill with generations of history behind it. Once lovingly restored, the mill once again became a place for woodworking and traditional craftsmanship.
Today, Creamore Mill combines modern precision with plenty of good old-fashioned handwork. Designs are developed, crafted, finished, and packed under one roof, keeping the company's wonderfully hands-on, artisan approach at the heart of everything they make.
With John’s wife Cathryn and their five sons having played an important role over the years, sons Sam and Oliver now help lead the family business into its next chapter.
The result is a collection of functional, beautifully made home and garden accessories that feel wonderfully timeless, pieces designed to be useful, lovely to look at, and very much at home in a well-loved house.
